It's very simple.

Remove OEM bolts from underneath the front bumper, apply 3M tape on the front lip and adhere to front bumper - make sure to test fit first. Screw in the OEM bolts and you're good to go !

Here's a pic for your reference

The lip is actually light enough that you don't even need the double-sided tape. Mine is attached without the use of the tape, and it's firm.

FYI just one more thing to add..

once you put the screw dont tighten them. screw each side and make sure they are loose and put the rest of the screws and once you have put all the screws (LOOSE) make your adjustment to make them fit perfect.... and tighten them one by one while someone is holding the lip to have the best fitment.

Guys,

Please be sure to install it with the 3M Double-Sided Tape!

If you drive around with it just bolted at the OEM locations far back, front lip will move when the air pushes down on it at speed. Don't want to see anything happen to it.

Hope this help

Well I haven't noticed any adverse effects myself. I also check to make sure that it's secured properly on a daily basis. I purchased mine used, so it didn't have the double-sided tape attached.

you wont or cant tell unless someone is really looking at it at high speed.

apparently my friend was able to noticed when he was following me at 70-80 miles an hours that the lip looked like it was tilting and a bit flapping up and down. i dont know maybe its just me...

So I performed the 70-80 mph front lip "flap test".....

....mine was sturdy. Your results may vary!

Tim, it doesn't come with 3M tape. There are a few choices at local hardware store. There are a few different strength double side tapes depends on personal preference. Some like to use a lot to secure aero part on cars, some like Sedan_Clan uses NONE!

anybody have a specific one to get(3m tape)? I went to Lowes and saw only one "double-sided duct tape" and it wasn't made by 3M. I did see "mounting" tape by 3M but it said it was permanent and removing it could cause damage. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

I find that adding large washer to the pre-existing oem bolt (just stack it) spreads the force of contact adding more stability. of course this is in addition to the double sided tape.

Do all the underside of the front spoiler look like that? It kind of looks cheap.

GL with the install.
