Ah, a LWB Lotus Exige. Probably for the Chinese market.
j/k Great car, very special, though I don't totally agree with mr Hennessey about EU supercars having no soul or are clinical . A Veyron, fair enough. But a 458/F12 or a Pagani , Gallardo Balboni, or take RUF and 9FF. They have soul(too). Cheers Robin |

Actually, that would be this:
The "World's fastest car" is in fact the Thrust SSC, clocked at 763 mph.
Former British Royal Air Force pilot Andy Green set the fastest speed recorded in October 15, 1997 at Black Rock Desert, Nevada. With Reaching 763 mph, Green is the first to reach supersonic speed on Earth. The ThrustSSC mixed the know-how of 4 British colleagues, Glynne Bowsher, Ron Ayers, Jeremy Bliss and Richard Noble, himself a record holder. They used a gas turbine engine (turbofan) from Rolls Royce, the recognized leader in aircraft engineering. Read the article HERE. Unless the shelby also goes super-sonic, it best pull over when one of these closes from behind... |

I would buy a Gallardo and send it to UGR before i would pay for this car... This car is nice and all buy it makes no since for 1 million dollars for a modified lotus.
UGR Gallardo looks better and would perform better then this car. |

Car is not proportionally right. Rear is too long, front is too short, doors are wayyyyy too small. Ugly. Can't argue with that power, but 1 million dollars for what is basically a 1200 hp Elise limousine that probably has less than 10% of the engineering of the Bugatti Veyron is just ridiculous.

To play devil's advocate, even that title could be a bit bold to claim. I'm sure there are some people out there with modded cars that are faster.

I don't get the complaints about looks at all. It looks like a Carrera GT in coupe guise.
