I drive the car... not beat on it, but DRIVE it. I just accept the mileage for what it is.

How is everyone getting over 14? I did for the first six months then dropped to 12.5 and never made a recovery. I never put the car in "M" mode, nor am I an aggressive driver.

weekdays, averages 21(30 mile commute), weekends, 18.5. I have a heavy foot, and it improved after my ECU mod.

I think a lot of it has to do with how often you hit that M button

Wouldn't engaging the "M" button decrease mileage?

Are these MPG taken from the information given by the car or actually taking the mileage and dividing by the gallon(s) consumed?

Because I have noticed that, between the two methods, the numbers are off my 2 MPG.

I get 12.5 with the calculator and 14 something from the car's info thingy.

08 sedan 26K DCT... I was driving 456 miles two times a week from Georgia to Florida for last 5 months and could consistently get 19-20 per gallon tank at 70 on cruise control despite the computer stating I was getting 22. I did notice a drop of a mile or two per gallon when the temperature started to drop. I don't have any proof, just an observation... Prior to this I was stationed in Korea and didn't get over 14 mpg, but I didn't have to worry about police or anyone enforcing speed limits there so I had a very different driving style...
