Are these MPG taken from the information given by the car or actually taking the mileage and dividing by the gallon(s) consumed?
Because I have noticed that, between the two methods, the numbers are off my 2 MPG. I get 12.5 with the calculator and 14 something from the car's info thingy. |

08 sedan 26K DCT... I was driving 456 miles two times a week from Georgia to Florida for last 5 months and could consistently get 19-20 per gallon tank at 70 on cruise control despite the computer stating I was getting 22. I did notice a drop of a mile or two per gallon when the temperature started to drop. I don't have any proof, just an observation... Prior to this I was stationed in Korea and didn't get over 14 mpg, but I didn't have to worry about police or anyone enforcing speed limits there so I had a very different driving style...
