modded 09 E92... modding pics & lil photoshoot
So i got my car this past Thursday.. drove it directly to ATL off the dealer lot... got home yesterday morning.... had parts waiting for me and immediately began to work on her.... then after that.. washed and took her out for some night shots.... i will be getting my 1200 mile service tom..only took 5 days to brake her in.... that wasn't bad!!..... then driving 400 miles into Florida tom afternoon....... so me and the ///M are busy....
here is how she sat yesterday at noon...... waiting for the parts.. it was kinda like X-mas.... first things first.. i want to thank Bob at BPS BimmerPerformanceStore.com.... i got most my stuff from him and the customer service and quality of the transaction was the best ive ever dealt with.... I had my parts in no time.. and never once had to ask for tracking numbers or updates... pretty nice... I'm glad i chose to do business with him.... I'm still waiting on the first part i ordered for this car... (i didn't go through Bob on this one)... i ordered it 4 months ago.... and I'm most excited about it... but its a secret for now..... and i also have a couple other little things on the way.... but the basic stuff is out of the way.. and its stuff that i think is a no brainer..... in the pic you can see boxes.... so whats in them is... 3D design CF front lip eisemann sport exhaust H&R springs AFE intake filter Flat Black grill thats the first step.... Wheel spacers will be put on soon also.... haking up a brand new bmw exhaust... i love it!... the Eise sport.... how they say its the same db as stock i don't know.. the sound is Perfect.. I'm very happy i chose it.. instead of the race... Bob and I talked about it for a while.. and we both agreed the sport was better for me.... spring install..... some of the suspension components are simply beautiful... and the front subframe.. wow!... beautiful beautiful.... and thats the longest swaybar link ive ever seen!... ... so got everything on late afternoon then went cruised around and took some night shots.... then... finally home.. after a long day of modding and pic taking.... with its new buddy..... again thanks to Bob at BPS and all the company's that manufactured the parts... I deal with Japanese tuning stuff.. And unless they are real authentic Japanese parts... they just aren't near the quality of the parts i got for the M... Beautiful car and great pictures. I can get enough of AW! All you need now is to ditch those orange reflectors and the front end will look 100x better! You planning on going with aftermarket wheels? And also, if you dont mind me asking which zoom lens did you use for this photo?

Beautiful, good luck with it!!!
Please let us know how you like the springs. I have the EDC and was debating on a spring swap. Good enough for the track? Thanks, TomK

Ah, so you're the customer Bob was talking about! I'm very happy to hear that you like your Sport exhaust! Bob and I had also spoken to each other at length about the question, to decide which you'd enjoy most.
Is the Supra in the photo yours? The MK4 and R34 are two of my favorite cars; I'm very impressed!

i got a lil DownLow info on what wheels the ALMS M3 will be running... so im waiting for the Final Design.. then plan to get something that looks similar (not the exact wheel obviously)... its right in the ball park of what i planned already... I love the 18s... esp with it lowered on them... but when these tires wear out.. i will prob do a set of track tires on the 18s.. then go with a aftermarket 19... Quote:
The springs are great... i was worried about maby they would be to stiff... but really the ride quality is almost the same.. and just has a bit more of a solid feel..... the EDC works well with them... plus lower the front helps with the handling... gives it that good point it where u want it feel... the front was a little "floaty" with stock springs.. imo..... Quote:
The Supra is not mine.... i have alot of seat time in it tho... its a incredible car.. its around 3200 pounds... and has a nice power curve.. peaking around 600 at the wheels... a tilton carbon triple clutch and other really pimp stuff. that makes it awsome to drive.. not a heavy slug... The 34 is my baby.. it doesn't really get drivin much.... The awsome thing about Jap cars is that BIG turbo power... it never gets old..... Quote:
what up Bob.... the Cam is a 40D with L glass... 17-35 and 75-200.... nice lil set up.... man.. if i hear you say Brembo and HRE one more time!!.. u know i want them....!!... Hopefully when i track the car i wont get to mad at the brakes... i have so many mods into the Nissan... ide like to keep it simple with the M.... but we will see... i do get bored easy.... |

Beautiful M and welcome to the mod club. It will become an addiction. In no time you'll surpass me and maybe even BMW-Mexico. Only kidding. Enjoy!

I've always dreamed of having a Tilton in my car! I bet it revs very quickly.
Does the 34 still have the stock twins?
