Insurance

Hi Folks

Just had my renewal come through from Admiral and it has gone up from £711 whch I paid last year to £942. I haven't made a claim but obviously not happy, any suggestions who i should call for a good quote?

Cheers

Ian

Same company, Admiral own Elephant but worth a try as I have heard sometimes they give cheaper quotes. It also works threatening to move insurer if they cannot match your last premium, I'd give both a go.

also try kwikfit insurance - they came through £200 less compared to others and without a silly excess.

Thanks guys.

I did phone admiral and questioned the increase and all of a sudden they knocked over £100 off it, amazing isn't it!

I hate companies that try it on!

In my experience insurers put premiums up after year one pretty much all the time working on the basis that a significant number will just renew without paying much attention. I have changed cars three times in the last two years and have ended up staying with Sainsburys (esure) but only after I have gathered a few competitive quotes first and got them to match.
