FYI - In PA, you cannot pass inspection with spacers larger than 1/4"...

Just found this out with my 12.5mm spacers on there which will not pass. Just wanted to give others the heads-up, because this was news to me.

I see huge lifted trucks near me everyday....their wheels stick out like 2 feet. I don't its too strict of a rule.

I assumed the motivation was rednecks with tires outside the wheel wells spitting crap all over other cars and the road. However, I do not know.

Agree with TRY...M3 - most places would not say anything. I'm going to take my car to a different garage for the mechanical inspection.

Yah - I mean tint is technically illegal in PA too, yet 95% of the mechanics doing the inspection don't care.

i had my PA inspection liscense for a few years...some people really follow it by the book..others know whats safe and whats not. lol

sorry to bump an old thread but saw you live in Pittsburgh. Wondering what dealership you took it to? Dont think Ive seen an SSII around...where do you live at?
