Steam cleaner seems like the best idea.
You can rent one from local grocery stores or home depot kinda places.

I'd just make sure no soap seeped to any connectors, on the amp (or underneath it), battery compartment, etc. And yes, I'd probably replace the liner as well; can't be that expensive. Good luck.

You know you can remove the trunk liner if you yank it out? It would reveal the computer hardware of the vehicle. After that just hose it down, and your good to go.
My mom spilled Orange Juice in my trunk somehow, and I can never get the smell out it's making me quite angry to be honest.

No, fortunately it was closer to the rear end of the car and some of it went where the air compressor storage is. Again it wasn't to much, it was probably like 50mL

Buy a new lid. It would take too much water to wash it out. For the compartment, I would soak up what I can with towels. Do not use water. Water just makes it more difficult to work with.

A few more tips...
If you elect to buy new, check m3post for sale sections, particularly threads people are doing a complete car part out for a race car build. Save you some money. If you elect keep and scrub, I would try to hang it vertically with the messy side down. Over time with all liquids, gravity and evaporation will extract it out. Though given viscocity levels, it may take a few days. |

Okay OP, just admit you had a dead body in your trunk and you tried using the detergent to clean out the blood but you accidently spilled the whole thing...

Sucks to hear OP. What's worse is that I had a NEW liter of motor oil in the compartment below the grey lid spill. That was a bitch to clean. I need to buy one of those cases for the motor oil. I don't understand why they can't make it sealed better so this shit doesn't happen.
