Radar Detector

I am awaiting the delivery of my E93 M3. There is no way I will be driving the speed limit, so I am considering getting a radar detector. I was thinking about the Escort Passport 9500ix Radar/Laser Detector. What are you fellow forum members using or what are your thoughts on radar detectors? Any suggestions or recommendations? Thanks.

A lot of my customers use the Valentine as well as the passport. You may consider the shield that covers your rear tag to confuse speed cameras. It seems like a new camera pops up every day in MD or DC.

OP seeing that your from "SoCal" you should stop by the MFEST meet this saturday, i believe there will be a passport booth at the show if not you can check out what all the guys are running in their cars and talk to them in person.
