Thanks!!! I was starting to think that way. I was only seeing it on the older ones and a few European LCI models.

Is EDC something I really want or does it make a noticeable feel in the handling?

I'm almost positive it's a JL motoring CF spoiler. I thought the same thing when I saw it and bought one and very happy with it. I hate how BMW left the e93 trunk bare…it looks like it's missing something. The CF spoiler adds what's missing from factory.

Interested as well

My jlmotoring has uneven kick, and is lower on the right side.

Probably will replace it with the oem E92 version
