If I'm running wheels with these specs: 19x9.5F et+22, 19x10.5R et+25 and front tire(PS2) specs of 265/35/19 what size rear tire do you guys think is better, (aesthetically and fitmently): 285/35 or 295/30? I believe PS2's run wide w/a round sidewall. I guess what I'm asking is since I'm running 265/35 up front(more rubber) will running 295/30 in the rear look equivalent to the fronts in terms of amount of rubber? And how will the fitment be? Keep in mind, 285/30 rear tires looks a bit skinny to me.

Your fronts are going to rub on the inner fender when you turn close to full lock. 255/35 would be a better choice in front. I'd run the 285/35 in back.

Doesn't the GTS use 285/30 out back?
I would go 265/30 front and 295/30 out back, with max camber front and back.

265/35 up front is perfect. No rubbing, clears perfectly. I was just hoping that the wideness of the 295/30 would compensate a bit for the thinness of the 30's since PS2's have a more rounded sidewall. Does that make any sense?? I'm a little afraid of clearance issues with a 285/35. Anyone have pictures of what a 285/35/19 PS2 mounted on a 10.5 inch wheel looks like???

I'm surprised the 265/35 isn't rubbing your inner fender liners at full lock. Are you sure you checked that? I had 285/35/19s mounted on a 10.5:







I ended up not liking them and swapped to a 295/30/19 in the back. You will be VERY close to rubbing with that setup though.

Yea, the 265/35's in the front is super close but doesn't rub. What did you not like about the 285/35's in the back?? I don't like how the 285/30 look so skinny in the back compared to the 265/35 in the front. Thanks for the feedback everyone!!

we usually run 265/30-19 and 295/30-19 combo.
We find that with a drop and with some tire brands, the 265/35 rubs a little.
Also, the 285/35-19 seems a little too big (overall diameter).

I have 19x10 ET20 w/ 285/35 and it rubs on the plastic near the tip of the rear bumper. Go for 295/30...

285/35/19...done. No rubbing whatsoever. Offset not as aggressive as your et+20 tho. The wheels have a et+25 offset. So for those that are wondering, 265/35/19 works w/Front@9.5 et+22 and 285/35/19 works w/Rear@10.5 et+25. No rubbing at all!!! Thanks for everyones input. I'll try to post some pics of my buddies car.

I thought about going 285/35/19 RE-11's in the rear with 10" +20 but figured it would be too close and a gamble for it to rub.

I went 295/30 in the rear, I may go 265 or 275/30 in the front when my 245/35's wear out.

I couldn't agree w/you more. 285/35/19 is a little big (.6 more then stock overall diameter) and mos def w/certain offsets and tire brand combos, 265/35 and 285/35 will rub a little. Fortunately, PS2's have a more rounded sidewall which allows for better fitment using above mentioned tire sizes. Other brands will have a more square sidewall. Moral of the story is, in order to find the perfect set of tires w/proper fitment, you need to know your offsets, know the tire that you want(tire specs not just specific size), and know what look you are trying to achieve w/tires(more or less rubber). Did I miss anything? That's probably the umteenth time this has been stated but what's one more time gonna hurt?

PS2's are what I'm running. I believe RE-11's have a more square sidewall? Not 100% sure tho. You're right about it rubbing tho. Definitely would have rubbed w/the aggressive +20 offset and RE-11 combo. Not so sure about 275/30 in front. Too wide, maybe.
