September lease numbers released?
Does anyone know if the lease rates for September have been released and if so, where I can find them?

From the information that I found, the September numbers for the MY13 M3 coupe are .00145 base m.f. and 57% based on 15k/3yr. Add 2 or 3% for 12k and 10k per year respectively.

Has anyone yet tried to buy-down the MF using MSD's yet?

I have on a past lease. My current DD was purchased with traditional financing. However, I am strongly considering leasing the M3 which I will be placing an order for in December to early January. If so, BMW FS will accept up to 7 additional MSD's for a total m.f. reduction of .00049 (or 1.176%). Therefore the adjusted m.f. would be .00096 (or 2.3%). Not a bad investment and preferred route vs. cap cost reduction. |

I will also add that while I am against cap cost reduction on a lease it does make sense to put a small amount down if the monthly payment in near the $50 level. Meaning, the security deposit is rounded to the next $50 increment (i.e. $500, $550, $600, etc), so if the cap reduction can lower the amount from $510 to $499 the security deposit would be $500. Therefore the max amount (7 MSD's plus regular) would be $4k vs. $4.4k. Obviously with an M3 the payment amount is usually higher and therefore the max contribution would be as well. But the math would still apply.
