I really don't know, but I think, and please correct me if I am wrong, you select PDC (which is in NC) and you are in LA, those are two different ships. Meaning you can't cancel, and hence your stuck.
Sorry dude. |

The Performance Center cars take the train up from the port in Charleston, SC to the processing center in Spartanburg, SC near the BMW factory. Very few (none?) Charleston ships go around to CA.

From the e-mail I got forwarded from my CA:
"Cancellations If you need to cancel your customer’s Performance Center Delivery, please complete the cancellation form available on BMW CenterNet immediately. Please note the following two situations: - If the vehicle has already been shipped to the BMW Performance Center, you are responsible for any shipping charges that apply to transport the vehicle back to your BMW Center. Vehicles are normally delivered to our facility approximately 2 weeks prior to the scheduled delivery date. - If the vehicle has not been shipped to the BMW Performance Center, the vehicle will simply be re-routed to be transported to your BMW Center at no additional cost." |

I had the same situation. My car was a PC delivery for @ May 1. got pushed back to June 3. Cancelled the PC. delivery while the ship was still at sea. Got my car on April 22nd. 1200 mile service is today. I had already been to the two day school so no big loss for me. The PC is pretty cool though. Just depends on whether you want to wait or not.
Me, I made the right choice, for me. |
