Wheel question - tight against hub
Hey guys,
I recently bought some HRE (Dinan) P40S off another member and when I installed them they would not just slide right onto the hubs. I pretty much had to put them on 1/2 way and then torque them evenly to get them flush. Is this normal or is this something I should be concerned about? Thanks |

Assuming your hubs are clean, That's a good thing. You want tight tolerances at the hub. That means they are truly hub centric. I tried one of the inexpensive wheels that everyone on this forum loves... They were not tight to the hub and I struggled to eliminate vibration.
