Double pull from outside not unlocking passenger door?

After my 1 yr service, I think the dealer updated my software. I now notice a nav warning when I started which disappears after a couple seconds.

But most annoying is that the passenger door isn't unlocking w/ the double pull on the outside of the driver side (which is working fine). Behavior seems erratic. Does this have to do with a fuse? Menu settings don't mention anything about unlock.

Thoughts?

Double pull on outside? Are you referring to comfort access? If so, it doesn't require a double pull or a pull at all.

Yes CA. Well for one year, double yanking on the outside of the driver door would unlock both doors. Now it's only unlocking the passenger door.

The CA feature just needs you to put your hand on the backside of the handle for the car to unlock. There is no pull required.

its an option in the door unlocks settings. You can program the car to unlock only the driver side door or all doors when you hit the unlock button once. I used to set the option to unlock only driver side door and lock my girlfriend out when she was pissing me off. ha

Ok don't have car at the moment but when I checked earlier in the settings there was only a menu with door lock options. Where is the menu location exactly?

in my car the menu is sub menu in the vehicle options for the door lock option menu.
But from what i recall double pull is from inside the cabin. outside of car you place ur grubby paw and the door unlocks.
Yo man when we gonna meet up?

This is a good question. If you read the manual, you should be able to open just the driver's side door with a single pull, or all (or both) doors by the double pull.

I am inferring this from this part of the manual.

First, from page 26:

<b>4. Select a menu item:
> "All doors"
Press the button once to unlock the
entire vehicle.
> "Driver's door only"
Pressing the button once unlocks
the driver's door and fuel filler flap.
Press the button twice to unlock the
entire vehicle.
5. Press the controller.</b>

Then, from page 34:

<b>Comparison to the standard remote control
In general, there is no difference between using
Comfort Access or pressing the buttons on the
remote control to carry out the functions mentioned
above. You should therefore first familiarize
yourself with the instructions on opening
and closing starting on page 26</b>

then this:

<b>Grasp the handle on the driver's or front passenger
door completely, arrow 1. This corresponds
to pressing the (unlock) button.</b>

I have never been able to get it to work this way, so I have it set up so that it always unlocks all four doors.

I would be curious to hear if the OP got this to work again.

Sorry that my HTML didn't work.

The <b> and </b> tags were supposed to make the text I copied from the manual bold.

It didn't.
