That S8 is a monster, couldn't believe how hard it pulls for such a large car when I drove it.

Ah, I see, me too loved the Alpinas but would prefere BMW make a M7...and that video just confirmed it! Pretty disapointing performance for an Alpina compared to a S model, good luck it was'nt an RS!

Let's be realistic, Alpina's a good compagny but how can someone not be dissapointed by a dyno result of 414whp when you pay this price for a car that's advertise at 540hp!? Also Audi S models are'nt either into crazy ass performance, that's RS models job, but still the cheaper S8 gives you plenty of it. I'm just saying that I would've expected the Alpina to be able to give that S8 a run for it's money!

My only disappointment with the current model 7 is how uncomfortable the back seat is. The lower bench is one peice and it really just feels like a bench. My current 7 series is almost out of warranty and it is such a let down to sit in the back of the 7 which is no more comfortable than a 3 or 5 + a little more leg room. Im 6'5 so the back seat feels that it is not deep enough in the 7. But for a drivers car, screw the passengers, ill take the B7 LOL
When you compare it to the Audi and Mercedes which have incredible back seats, some are even electric adjustable with bolsters in the rear and tilt.

I had the opportunity to drive the 2013 S8 and 2013 Alpina B7 this past weekend. Although the Audi was extremely quick, the Alpina was definitely my preferred choice. The motor felt a bit more powerful, and the car felt more stable around corners. The new Alpina B7 Valvetronic engine is very impressive

I'm close to retirement, but I'll still be driving the latest M3 after!

Why would anyone take the outdated, overpriced Alpina over the far better looking and performing S7? With an APR ECU reflash, the S7 would really make any performance comparison between the two cars simply ridiculous.

All jokes aside... the looks on this Volkswagon/Audi look horrid. No way around it regardless of numbers...
