**OFFICAL 818/805 Bimmerfest 2011 Caravan**

Alright people,

Bimmerfest is a couple weeks away and it's time to get the caravans organized! The caravans out to Bimmerfest is arguably one of the best parts of the event! Last year we had over 100+ cars occupying every lane of the 101 all the way into Pasadena! Let do it again! Here's the details...

Where: 4754 Commons Way Calabasas, CA 91302-3363

This is the same spot we met last year. Worked great, access to the freeway was easy, plenty of parking with no hassles. Vons is right in the complex so you can grabs food or whatever you guys need before we depart.

When: Saturday, May 14 2011. We will meet from 7:00-7:45 A.M. We will depart at 8:00 A.M. Bimmerfest gates open at 9:00 A.M. It take about a hour to get there from Calabasas. So please try to be on time, we want to arrive at the show in a timely manner.

Post up if you plan on attending! This is a really awesome part of the event! Please remember to obey the speed limits and don't do anything stupid. CHP will be monitoring the highways like always, they know of the annual event. We will also try to organize a merge with the Bay area caravan coming down the 101, to make the Caravan ever better.

We will be taking the 101 to the 134 to the 210 to Rose Bowl Dr.

Silly quesiton, but what does this Caravan thing mean. Do a whole bunch of strangers rent a Van? Lol, seriously - I have my flame suite on for this one.

It's basically a meet spot of enthusiasts to gather and drive to the event at the same time. It's one of the highlights of the event! Last year we had over 100 BMWs barreling down the 101 towards Pasadena occupying the entire 101 freeways! Defiantly try to come if you've never gone before!

I'll try to go down with my brother, and his new Mustang 5.0 (if he buys it today). I don't have a bimmer anymore, and I'm saving up for an M3 - and let's just say my dad won't let me take out the 135i

Is that cool usually with the other bimmer enthusiasts if someone rolls with American Muscle (I mean my brother owns an e30, but it's currently in the shop)?

lol depends how the weather is looking if it is 95 to 100. I am going in the am if the degrees are good. I'm go in the afternoon...

I usually leave by noon to 1 lol

early is better as it's cooler

it gets way too hot in the afternoon

MFest is still recovering from MFest!

does anyone know if the other caravan in the sherman oaks mall parking lot is going to happen maybe it can join in on this because last year there was another caravan we left from the sherman oaks mall hit d 101 took topanga canyon all the way to pch den drove down to pasadena.........
