Not to thread jack, but how did you keep your car clean in Las Vegas when you lived here. The water is horrible. Please give me any tips, I live in the north.

Best regards.

Aside from the brutal traffic, what's so bad about the roads? Not like they're pocked with potholes.

I had to replace both front tires from hitting pot holes on H-1. Pot holes on regular surface roads are one thing, but on the main freeway, ridiculous.

Had two tires blow out on our mini cooper from the potholes on the H1.

How do you guys deal with putting the registration sticker on the bumper? Noticed that when I was in Hawaii and thought that would be pretty close to a deal-breaker. The fact that the roads were riddled with potholes, tiny, and clogged with slow drivers made it definitely a deal-breaker.

Beautiful land, though.

LOL Hawaii is not even close to the worst roads in America. They are a top 10 but not top 5 at all.

You will have fun there for about a year then it gets boring. They have awesome people there and it feels like 1985 all the time there.

Depends on what island you are on and town. I lived in Pearl City and Ewa Beach for years and freeways and highways were average at best. Downtown Waikiki was a little below average and around the island was so so.

Keep your mainland registration and DO NOT waste your time with Hawaii plates, registration, or RECON. I never ran any of it for 5+ years.
