I saw you edited your post, actually.

Calm down, now, and there's no need to jump to conclusions that I'm a teeny bopper or am indigent. I'm surprised you got so insecure when I cracked a joke at your 325i despite your supposed, astronomical wealth...as it wasn't even meant to be offensive (and let's not also forget you were the one to start such a jocular vibe).

lol.

face it, any popular car manufacturer will have stereotypes about their owners. and then they'll be the owners with too much pride. and of course, the immature dumbass owners that think they're hot shit, and age doesn't have anything to do with it. people just gotta know, not everybody is like that.

I love German engineering, I took 5 years of high school German, and I love the car.

I consider myself a pretty nice guy and anyone who knows me could say I'm pretty easy to get along with. But if people want to hate me because of what I drive, then let them. I used to.

5 years of high school german you say? 5 years?

Hehe, that's why when I see things turn for the worse, I often end my participation to try to avoid conflict. We all think what we want to, I try and offer my point of view from time to time, but when it seems that it's a long uphill journey, what's the point?

Well, you can't call all non-bmw owners haters. There are lots of BMW owners who hate as well. I know lots of e46 folks who dislike e90 owners. Why? I don't know. I owned an e46 (my first bmw) and I loved every second of it. I still love the e46, but my e90 is my mistress now.

I'm sure some 7 series or 5 series look down upon too.

Yeah, Yaajer. That's already mentioned in this 7-page thread. But I concur.

Yea, infighting is just another example of human weakness, but for me, even more sad than non-bmw owners hating. I see it happen all over, some Prelude guys looking down on Accords, Civics, etc...people are people.

Nah, don't worry about it. The whole world needs more but more importantly, maybe we all just need to

Yeah, 5. Maybe not five years per se, but I made it up to German 5 in high school. I don't know...I consider that five years, five semesters, whatever!

BMW can never offer you the luxury that Lexus offers, and Lexus can never offer the performance that BMW offers, both are equally great, I love my new montego blue 335i but sometimes i miss the luxury of my 2002 gs300

With all owners of other cars, the "reason they beat BMW" (in their minds at least) is because of these 3 reasons.

1. better exterior styling (this is objective, everyone has their own opinion)
2. interior is higher quality (again, objective, everyone has their own opinion)
3. reliability is better (not necessarily true in 100% of cases, in fact i beg any Lexus or Toyota owner to tell me how many miles their cars have. I gurantee you it won't be anywhere near my '86 325.)

the rest, as far as performance, driveabiltiy, etc. usually people admit that BMW wins. but saying that Interior & Exterior styling is all out BETTER just because YOU seem to like it better is retarded. that's why i hate visiting other forums.

Over here in Germany (assigned overseas) the big ongoing hate/bash is between BMW and Audi, just as Mercedes and Porsche are rivals for who drives what.
Everytime I am on the road, it's always the Audi A4 and Audi A6 drivers that want to "pick a fight" on the streets. It's always who has the better what. But, on the inner city driving challenge around Heidelberg, Germany, it is the 328i that has the upper hand on fast acceleration and handling.

Audi A4 or Audi A6 and a BMW 328i are merging from two different angles to a one lane road.....
...Audi puts foot down onto accelerator as does the BMW....

"Hmm...is that an Audi A4/A6 I see in my rear view mirror, honey???"

***Live happy....drive BMW***
