273E + Misfire

Hey guys,

I've been getting a yellow check engine light, with an "Increased emissions!" warning. I pulled the codes and this is what I have:

- 273E - O2 sensor
- 2748 - Misfire, cyl 6
- 2742 - Misfire, cyl 1

My question: Which O2 sensor do I need to buy? Any difference between the Bosch sensor and the "genuine BMW" sensor, other than the cost?

Could codes 2748 and 2742 be related to the bad O2 sensor, or is there a larger problem here?

Thanks guys.

My suggestion would be to clear those codes and see how quickly they return. OBD2 is notoriously fickle.

Thanks. I ended up swapping the passenger wideband o2 sensor and so far so good. (knocks on wood)
