I'll think about it. It's hard to take saturdays off of work. Sundays are easy.

Are you running CW or CCW?

Not a problem as long as you both paid and registered as it is $130 per person, not per vehicle. What are the names?

Trying to make it out....

If I bring a friend who just wants to hang out, he doesn't have to pay $$ right? (other than the $10 gate fee)

Question: Is there going to be any type of Track Insurance? And if so, what are the details?
Generally, for all HPDE events, you are responsible for obtaining your own private track insurance

Rates generally start at around a couple hundred bucks ($500?), with a $2000-5000 deductible, IIRC.

This is for your own car.

The organizer is, IIRC, required to buy insurance for possible damage to the track/property owned by Willow Springs, with no insurance for the drivers' vehicles.

Though every event different, and I'm not completely sure of everything, so it's best if the op/event organizer clarifies everything. It's possible every thing I said is wrong for this event

I looked into it, and the rate I found for my car was $450 IIRC

I'm sure if you have a cheaper car, it'll be cheaper to insure

the $200 or $400 isn't too big of a deal but the thousand dollars worth of deductible is a pain

but i mean.... if you're careful, and not too hot headed, there should be no issues.

From what I've noticed, those who crash tend to get too arrogant or over confident (me included, hence why I went off, though my damages were very minuscule as I went off straight)

You can't really blow the motor in a DCT car.... so that's now an issue.

Insurance is a great thing to get, but not required by any means

Be alert of your surroundings, don't get too hot headed, and make sure your car is safe, and just have fun
