....and have a few gallons left. Is there something wrong with the car lol? Took the car out to Montauk Point from The Bronx one morning and kept the speed right around 65 with some city/town driving and I've never seen mileage like this from two E9x M3's. No cats with ESS tune. Is this normal?

Here's my story.
Bone stock motor: consistently 16-18 MPG.
Stroker motor: consistently 14-16 MPG.
Stroker motor + supercharger + 3.15 final drive (I'm 6MT with 3.85 stock FD): 18-20 MPG. Then one tank actually hit 22 MPG.

Go figure.

Just hit 226 and miles to empty was --- for at least 2 miles. Pump said it took 17 ?? gallons. Never let it go that long, but that 226 miles is def a record for me I think. And that's mostly slow city/highway

Corrected for larger injectors? Its funny how much the ECU will over-predict MPG on SC cars due to the larger injector size as that part of the software is not updated (~40 lb injectors upgraded to ~60 lb. injectors).

For the most part yes using the ECU. But I always sanity check the ECU by looking at my trip odometer and dividing by the number of gallons to fill the tank. In this case, I filled up in Simi Valley before driving home. It's approximately 320 miles home and I always have to fill up on the way. By the time I got to Harris Ranch, the ECU said I was getting monster MPG so I kept going and planned to fill up when I got to HWY 152. By the time I got there, I was still getting monster MPG and I decided to keep going to the next gas station 30 miles away at Casa de Fruta. By the time I got there, I still had enough miles to get to Gilroy; so I kept going. Once I got to Gilroy, I still had enough miles to get to my home exit; so I kept going. I finally got to my exit with approximately 2 miles left in the tank and I filled up. The MPG calculated to just a tad under 22 MPG for the whole trip. It's a real mystery because between Simi Valley and the bottom of Grapevine there's some pretty big mountains to cross, but on the back side there's also many miles you can coast downhill.

Funny I drive a similar route to get to my parents place: LA to SF at ~365 miles. I average about 20 +/- 1 mpg for the whole trip (invariant for years regardless of mods), including a stop or two for gas, bathroom, food, etc. Such a boring drive...

I use to average 14.6l/100 km. But for some reason since getting the BPM Stage II it is down to 14.2 even after spirited running everyday since getting it. I am also catless.

Now figure that out ...

My average MPG is 21.0 so says my car. One time I filled up it stated 401 miles till empty. This was about a month ago but now when I fill up the highest I ever see is ~360 miles till empty. Not sure what was going on before but I know I wasn't getting 401miles till empty in reality.

God bless you all that break 300 w/ mixed driving. I just can't help going WOT once & a while, so.... No 300+ for me in mixed driving.

Although I did do 330 before filling up while cruising 79-80, on a stretch when I picked up the car.

YMMV... lol

Dude it was so pathetic...I would fill it up and be so light footed and shift like around 2k cruising around 4mph in 4th gear. All just to see how far it would go up. Realistically though it never made it pass 300 mpg once I was about to go empty. It's very optimistic at first!
