Dont worry this is just a concept. Things like the lights and character lines will appear on the new CLK and E-class. The new CLK will remain as a coupe.

Yeah that's exactly what it is. The fasting is tough this year, 16 hours a day!

The wagon/coupe thing is merely a conceptual practice. Benz is saying that a coupe doesn't have to be impractical, so this may hint towards the next CLK, but more likely it's just a design influence.

We've seen Benz screw up coupes before though, take a look at the W203 "coupe". Let's hope they don't repeat their mistakes.

I've seen the CLK LIVE (altough in camo it's pretty different from looking at pics with camo) when I was at the N?rburgring this summer and by judging on the proportions I'm pretty sure it'll look AWESOME!

Two things:

1) DAYUM where'd you find those pics? That looks amazing, and very very S5-ish in the profile, especially in the rear quarters.

2) They always make bland rear bumpers that look a million times better post-facelift. Looks like this one will follow the same trend.

Yeh sorry....I should have recognised that it was only a design study.

Haha....fasting hours are long.
Over here, the fasting period of a day is 14 hours but you have to work in temperatures ranging between 85F to 100F.....but you do get shorter working hours(2 to 3 hours shorter then usual)....which isnt short enough....!

Yep, that looks like a CLK alright. And yes, the C-pillar on that pic above do resemble Honda’s, but, lest we forget, so do the Audi S/A5 C-pillar and that doesn’t stop it from being an uber nice coupe! Here are a couple of other spy pics that look pretty nice to me, and notice the very smooth C-pillar on this one (now imagine what AMG will do to it, lol):
