I went to the Dark Side...
I've been looking at these for two years and finally pulled the trigger. Kept my M3 as it is set up so perfectly and I still love it eight years later.
I gotta say, its even better than I had heard. Super quick and handles so well....good to be back with a manual again.

I don't think most of us see it as the dark side-we are mostly all sports car enthusiasts and understand the draw to more than one marque. I have driven a regular Cayman as well as a friends GT3-they are impressive. I even drove a very similar car to yours although for a short distance and very low speed :-/ and as much as I felt the draw to them-I thought the GT4 was best suited to the track rather than the street-is that your plan?

Dark Side was more of a joke. Its my first non-BMW in a long time. I really like the previous gen M2 Comp / CS, but I wanted to keep my M3 so it did not make sense. I don't like the direction BMW is going design and size-wise for their 2 and 3 series and I don't see myself owning another until they make a drastic change. I do plan to track the GT4, but will definitely drive it around town as well.
