clear bra scratch

Anyone know how to get scratches out of a clear bra protectant? It's not the paint underneath that's scratched...it's the actual plastic protectant that is scratched.

Its important to know what type of film you have on your car. Different films react to different techniques. Some films you can remove the scratch and others you cant.

Usually with VentureShield if you get some fine scratches in it they will go away with a little heat. I use a heat gun but a hair dryer may work. I do not recommend you use a heat gun because you can easily melt the film. Try using some heat on it and see if that works. If not I have used some very fine polish on it with a lot of elbow grease and had good results.

I think mine is a 3M product. Would heat and polish work on that too?

I have had great luck removing scratches and waterspots from Venture film. I generally use a rotary polisher and Meguiars M80 and a W8006. Again do not get to overly aggressive when polishing or do not overheat film. By finessing the film you should see the correction occur. Top off or seal your film with PLEXUS after the repair is completed.

VentureShield themselves have said you're not supposed to use any polishing technique on their bras. As htp said, a heat gun is the only possible way to remove scratches from a VentureShield piece. To the OP, I wouldn't use a heat gun yourself, instead I'd find a local VS installer in your area that can do the fix.
