I wouldnt have a problem buying one, but lets be honest, its not better than the M3. It has a couple things someone might want more, but isnt a better car or performer.
Agreed, got a ride in a Lotus exige last weekend at Chuckwalla raceway and lets just say..I came away ''impressed''

1M is by no means light.

Cayman S or R would be my choice for a DD'able car with good space that IS light and nimble, and DOES have world class handling. Just look at where it placed in the MT best driver's car and then look at where the 1m and lotus places.
Lotus is nice, but not really DD'able cars.
Only Lotus I would DD would be the Evora, and at that price rage the Caymen R would top my list.Either way I look at the 1M like this,Its not really a light car,not particularly powerfull, not totally original with M3 bits and pieces and a M massaged N54 powerplant. The package as a whole just does not do it for me even at 47k bare bones.

This would be the perfect garage mate to the m3 as a track weapon!
