OP, please remember that it doesn't matter what you think the car is worth. The market will do it for you.

Good luck.

Did you have ANY fun with it, or just give yourself an ulcer?
Next time you get one, use it.

Good luck.
+1 to both. When you look back and remember the car, all you will remember is that you drove it in the country roads and babied the crap out of it. You will definitely get more than the average e46 is going for, but not much more. Good luck with the sale. Car does look great!

You might be waiting for a loong time for that "one person" who will pay such a high premium. While you are waiting your car's value is going to keep falling. I think you are expecting way too much. As someone already said, the market will determine the sale price of your car not you.

Paul,

Absolutely stunning car and best of luck with the sale. Don't listen to any clowns who provide negtive feedback about your pricing. It's your car and I seriously think that you will get your price. I was speaking to a dealer friend of mine who recently had a loaded 06 ZCP manual with 5200 miles and sold it for $49K with 18 people who called in and four people who bid on it. What we as enthusiasts think is high and what the market thinks is high are two very different animals. If you check autotrader.com and cars.com, you see very few low mileage M3s especially with a manual and they are all listed above your asking price. Good Luck, I hope you get more than your asking but then again, I'm biased and own the same car! My advice is that this car is going to be a collector's and I suggest you keep it.

The only clowns here are the ones who think their cars command the same price as a 2-year newer (and more desirable) V8 model. What you're getting here is REALISTIC feedback, not 'negative' feedback. Besides, you come here and call forum members 'clowns' when you should be posting this over the E46 forum?

Anyway, all of us are probably going to be dead before our precious cars, either E46s or E92s, become 'collectors' (if ever). When either of you sell your 'investments', come back to us and tell us how much you got, and we'll see who were the clowns . Good luck.

agreed to a certain extent, cars are not investments...they are an expense.

guys. what happened to the FS rule? ( only post when you have interest to buy and etc,).let the guy sell his car, don't like the price? move on to the next thread or PM what you think please.

respect the seller and let the market determine the price please. you ARE NOT the market even though you think you are doing the buyer a favor.

to OP, GLWS.

FYI...E46 M3's and E90's aren't collectors cars..nor will they ever be...except for a few special models like the CSL etc...and even that i doubt so

Gorgeous car! Someone is gonna be very lucky to acquire your ride.

I just had my car for sale, did a ton of homework prior to listing it, had a bunch of low-ball offers, ridicule and such and despite dropping my price to the lowest in the NATION, it still didn't sell. Call it bad timing, bad market, whatever. I decided to keep it and I'm glad I haven't given it a second thought. Regardless of your asking price, you're still gonna hear people's criticism. Unfortunately, it's in some people's nature just to complain.

I personally would like to share in the pleasures these awesome cars have to offer and ignore the complainers. Cheers & good luck!
