Had a little chat at a traffic light in Old Town Manassas near the courthouse, White e92 with Performance spoiler, spliters and VA plates "Grubber" <--- (spelling) earlier today

Looked like a new AW ZCP e92 M3 on 270N near 28N, sadly it was in the barrier, looked like a silver prius pushed it into the center barrier and caused some serious damage.

Otherwise, the car was CLEAN, I was in the shoulder lanes otherwise I would have stopped to see if you guys needed some help, looked like the accident just happened when I drove by around 930, no cops or emts on the scene.

A friend of mine called me yesterday asking if that was me. I'm glad the answer was "no". Damage - he told me the same thing about how badly the car was damaged. I hope no one was injured. Based on the damage, do you think the M3 will be totaled by an ins co?

There's a Navy guy in my building that parks on the same level as I do... he has a Silverstone M5 that's lowered with Forgestar wheels (i think) and a Dinan Supercharged E36 M3 for sale.

I couldn't tell but it could be totaled because the damage to the engine bay looked pretty significant, the driver and passenger areas looked ok. I think the driver and if there was a passenger will be ok, it also looked like airbags deployed. When I saw the M3 my heart sunk, I too got a few calls since it's my route to work...seriously tho, some of prius drivers are dangerous.

It looked like the M3 was in the HOV/Express lane and a prius changed lanes into the M3 and just forced the driver into the wall and they just remained in the left shoulder.

What is even more painful, is it took them over an hour to get a tow truck out and the car off the highway. (i was getting calls around 10:30 about the accident, I saw it at 930)

I agree - Prius drivers are dangerous. My wife can't stand having a Prius near her!

I saw the AW on 270 in the morning also. I was headed south but saw the airbag deployed as well. Hope everyone was ok, I thought maybe it was a hydro plane situation. Wanted to stop but not much I could do on the other side of the barrier.
