Very nice, like the rims.. Why did you go with that set up? How much are the wheels?

Thanks. I think they retail for around $1300 ea for 18". My Reasons:

1 - I have always loved the R43's since seeing them on IND's Gold Rush Project and fall-line motorsports cars. They have an aggressive, track look to them. See this thread:

http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthr...egon+gold+rush

2 - I wanted 18's after installing coilovers which made the car stiffer and lower. 18's look great on lowered cars and the extra side-wall on the tires is welcome. I'm not a big fan of 18's on cars that aren't lowered significantly.

3 - They are light, strong, and I like how they look.

4 - They have big brake clearance (380mm) and I hope to upgrade my brakes at some point.

Beautiful setup! What are you suspension settings? Ride height, camber, etc!?!

I def will for all the e90 owners who might want them. I've been wanting these rims since 2 months ago, I wasn't sure how they'd go together so I was skeptical .. I searched everywhere no one has them on an E90 m3.. So I said screw it ill give it a shot!!

I like a 20 mm stagger front to rear (like stock). 9.5" front and 10.5" rear are 1 inch different or 25 mm. Allows you to install 275/30 and 295/30 tires with similar look / fitment on the front and rear (wheel width 25 mm different and tire size 20 mm different). You could also go with 255/35 and 275/35. A 9" front limits you to a 245/35 or 255/35 in the front (265 or 275 on a 9" wheel is too wide IMO). A 10.5 et27 allows you to run 295/30 rear tires without rubbing. 10.5 et 22 with 295's will rub. Your proposed 10.5 et 30 should work but you will like the more aggressive look with et27. A 9.5 et 22 with 275/30's in the front on a lowered car will require negative camber but it will look and drive fantastically. Any higher offset (more inward) will rub on KW clubsport coilovers on the inside. You may not have coilovers now but it will be good to have the option in the future without requiring spacers.

I hope this helps!

Why bother getting aftermarket wheels if you are going to replicate stock? Stock offsets are very conservative which is safe if that is your primary objective. Modifying cars is a matter of personal taste. I don't mean to force you down my preferred path. I do however think that you should take advantage of the fact that you are buying a custom wheel that allows you to personalize the specs to your liking. I like the look and performance of wheels / tires that maximize the space available within the M3's wheel arches. That being said, I recommended the wheel sizes / offsets (and tire sizes) that will allow you to do so. My recommendation is based on my personal experience with five different sets of wheels on my M3 sedan (plus experimentation with spacers).

Just look at how perfect my recommended sizes fit on the car in this thread (note that he is using 305's in the rear. I didn't recommend that because you will surely rub. I would stick with 295/30's):

Yea I know what you mean.. I've seen j2m3's m3 I love his set up I like his stance very aggressive, I just don't want to rub so I'd love for you to recommend a perfect fit for me since you seem like a pro at this. Lol this is my first time ordering custom wheels.. I just don't want my wheels to go inwards or nor do I want any rubbing at all!! I'm afraid that a 9.5in front wheel will rub at full lock? Do you rub at all ? Let me know thanks

If you don't want to rub at all it's best to go a little conservative, don't push it too much. Our cars aren't identical. A setup that doesn't rub on one may rub on another. I went with a 19x10, et20 w/stock size tires for my rear. I don't rub under full compression but I'm sure if I put 285's on I would, it's close. That's with Eibach springs which provide a conservative drop. Definitely not a bulldog stance but gave me exactly what I wanted. I'm also really close on the front at full lock with 19x9, et 20. If I put 255/35's on I'm sure I'd rub a little at full lock. I feel you about the rub, that wasn't an option for me. It took me a little trial and error to dial the right setup for me. Hopefully you nail it on the first pass.
