If you are fully catless, you are going to need primary and secondary cats placed back on the car to pass.....

2 other options:

- chat privately with some of the forum members here and find a "guy" who will pass you

- hit up a couple of the performance shop sponsors on this forum who have full OEM exhausts sitting in their warehouses from recent swaps they have been installing. Likely, for a small labor charge they will swap out your exhaust setup with OEM (from one of the several they have just sitting around), have you run down the street, get smogged, and come back and put your setup back where it belongs....on your M!

Either way, good luck to you!

It's the primary cats that you need, I just so happen to have the ones from my e92 available for sale.
The problem is they are just the primary cats cut from the xpipe (I installed test pipes to stock exhaust) so if you have stock xpipe you can weld/clamp mine back on. lemme know if you want them.

many shops actually hold on to stock exhaust just for this purpose. swing by, they'll swap yours out & test it so you pass emissions then put yours back on. That may be your best bet

I don't know a "guy" for smog, but I'd check with Malek at MRF (forum sponsor). Great guy with a shop in Lake Forest who has stock exhaust setups in his garage.

Can't speak for him, but if you hit him up I'm sure he will have a solution for you. I'd think you could just swap on an oem exhaust, get smogged, then come put your setup back on.

Good luck!

I think it would be like 60 or 70$? I know test pipes shipped to me was 50 and these are a little heavier. I can get a quote if you like, lemme know.

Keep in mind that it takes a fair amount of driving for readiness codes to activate.

Good point, but it will still work.
