hood vent removal???

Does any one know how to remove the hood vent assembly on top of the hood? please help...

this is the way that I did it:

1) Pulled off the rubber from the underside of the trunk
2) Used a flathead screwdriver to push out the clips from the underside of the hood so the top surround piece separates from the honeycomb mesh piece.(look at your replacement piece to see which way the tabs should be pushed)
3) Lift off vent top piece

To reinstall you must take out the honeycomb mesh portion and replace the rubber piece from the top down. The mesh portion slides out by pulling it toward the windshield. To reinstall, make sure the tabs on the mesh portion slides into the metal tabs on the hood. Slide it from the back towards the front. You will see that the mesh has tabs and the metal tabs on the hood slides between them. Lastly, snap the vent surround into place.
