Awesome, thanks for the extra pictures. You really captured the true color of the fox red interior well.

Definitely not ugly. Saw a black one parked in my town last week, it is beautiful.

I have been saying this for a long time...there is no other true 4-seat car in the world that has even close to the overall blend of performance, comfort, and practicality of the M3 coupe or convertible.
If you move into the convertible category, the list becomes even shorter, and as the OP has pointed out it moves to a list of about 2 or 3 cars that can accelerate to 60 in under 5secs and still truly seat 4 adults. 1. Ferrari California 2. E93 M3 3. ??? Now if you talk value its not even a comparison. Then again exclusivity is more important than value to those with lots of cash, hence there is a target market for both the California and the E93. |

If you want a hard top convertible the list is truly only two cars:
M3 Ferrari California

Yup, and with the Ferrari California you'd have to tolerate that bustle butt and the vertically stacked exhaust tips that look like something from a transformer toy. And you can His & Hers E93's for the price.
E93 M3 rocks!

I am new to this forum... my first post actually.
To the OP: I currently lease an E60 M5 which is coming due in May. My number #1 on the replacement list is the M3 vert. Your post was very valuable and pertinent to my current situation. It was nice to read all your opinions. I have driven the M3 DCT during my 2 visits to the M driving school and it was a blast. However, like your self, I am excited to go from the SMG back to a manual. How much do you miss the V-10, now having the V-8? The E60 M5 is a very special car is many ways, but I think the M3 vert would be a worthy replacement. Thanks again. DB |
