They are start to grow on me as well.

Just installed these on our project 335i as well. I was at the Star's Burgers meet to show them off today! Tomorrow, I'll be at Auto Club Raceway at the BMWCCA HPDE and Club Raceday on Sunday from noon until 3pm.

If you are not tracking your car, you may not need the brake performance the Trophy can offer.

So, do they rust and, is there a reason they can't make them not rust?
ALL rotors do this!!! Stock, Aftermarket....ALL!!! You have metal rotors getting grinded against Metal pads = corrosion! Brake pad material will either minimize or increase this.

$15,000 rotors don't rust.

As for the looks, the standard StopTech's look a LOT better on the car than when just looking at them in the box.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

The Trophy Sports keep their good looks for a lot longer than the standard kit with less fading on the finish when exposed to high heat.

Harold, can you elaborate on this quote from your 1st post? I had my standard stoptech's out on track last week and experienced significant knockback. What is the full floating hardware that is unique to the trophies & can you post some pictures of it?
