Tire size help please

Hi, I ordered a set of wheels and I want some help figuring out what tire size to go with so I don't rub. My car is a E90 M3 zcp I really don't wanna mess with the camber if I don't have too.. A little history my old set up rubbed a little in the rear very slight it would rub only on big dips with only one person in the car.. I was told by my distributor and hre I can use a 275/35 with no issues.. I wanted to use a 285/35 but I think that would be too tall.. I just thought that a 275/35 would be stretching it? Hre claims it wouldn't strech bc pss are bulky..You guys think I'd be ok with a 275/35 ? I wanna try and keep a 35 profile to match my fronts and I wanna keep the 255/35 up front because I had no issues with them at all only in the rear. Anyone with similar set up please leave some feedback thanks in advance

Tires Michelin pss
Old wheels :

19x9 et22 255/35
19x10.5 et27 295/30

New wheels

19x9et22 255/35
19x10.5 et20 275/35?

I'm sorry for not responding to your PM.

I would stick to no more than a 20mm tire stagger and match that with a 1" wheel stagger. That way the tires are sitting on the wheels consistently, same amount of stretch front and rear. I wouldn't be afraid of a little camber, the car needs it IMO. My preferred set-up would be 275/30/19 Front and 295/30/19 rear with 9.5" front width and 10.5" rear width. That being said, you seem to be resistant to any camber. I think 255/35 and 275/35 tires will be easier to fit. I would however go with a 9.5" et27 front to match the 10.5" et20 rear. I wouldn't choose those offsets for myself because they limit you to 255/275 tire sizes but that's what you want.... You shouldn't have rubbed with a 295 on a et27 wheel but you were probably running ps2's or PSS in N (Porsche spec) which run a little wide. Plus refusing to run any camber. Do you know where it was rubbing? It may have just been the plastic fender liner protrusion where the fender and bumper meet. If so that can easily be modified or it will just wear down and stop rubbing. I hope this helps.

Hey slicer,

Yea no problem man I figured your probably busy anyway.. Well the sizes are ordered already I don't think I can go back and change it plus I wouldn't wanna go so wide in the front anyway I'm very worried of rubbing I hate it when my tires rub.. I was thinking of keeping the 1' stagger but do a 10' in the rear but I wanted to go wider Because I know 10.5 fit no problem.. I was told by hre these sizes are pretty aggressive so I curious how it will sit.. Do you think it's more aggressive or more moderate than my previous wheels? Based on my sizes you think the 275/35 in the rear would be ok right? Yea I had removed the wheels on this car to see where the rubbing was and I couldn't find any marks but I only had the wheels on the car for a few thousands miles.. The rubbing like I said was minimal.. It actually rubbed a lot on my previous 08 e90 I had to get springs to fix it. Hre said it was probably the tires that caused the rubbing issue they are bulky tires. what are your thoughts on this set up?

I'm also looking to change my tires to Michelin PSS I currently have 245/35/19 and 265/35/19 KHUMO, my wheels are 19x9.5 et21/ 19x10.5 et22 and have been advised to put on 255/35/19 & 275/35/19 or 245/35 R19 XL front and 295/30R19 XL rear apparently some have put ppl have put on 255 front and 305 rear. I have Bilstein adjustable coli-overs so my car is lowered but it currently doesn't rub and I don't want it too! But I want alot more traction while keeping the tryres looking good... What do you recommend?
