SoCal TRACK DAY!: Streets of Willow 7/28-29. BMW Xtreme!
SoCal TRACK DAY!: Streets of Willow 7/28-29. BMW Xtreme!
Price is $85 for July 28th running from 9am to 3:30PM. Then there is a Twilight (no not the book or sparkling vampires...) event from 4pm to Midnight, and Willow is providing professional track lights. The price is 115 with discount code twilight2, but you must register early/mid july. Otherwise the price is listed at $130 on their web site. July 29th is a from 9am to 5pm, price is $110, but with discount code Sow15, it's only $95 If you have any questions, please email them... I will try to help out when I can, but I don't have technical/specific answers: sung@extremespeedtrackevents.com Also, the events fill up fast and I get people texting/calling/emailing/PMing me about seeing if there are any openings.... I don't know as I don't work for them. You need to email them and ask. Registration link: http://www.extremespeedtrackevents.c...t-registration There will be Free Timing and Free lunch (or dinner) for ALL drivers who register, as well as Free Basic on track instruction for beginners Couple photos from previous events: (I suck at taking pics so sorry if they're crappy) I am personally going to go on the Saturday as that is the Twilight event.

I'm signed up for the 28th... Can't wait! We are driving out the night before and staying at a hotel for the night to be 'fresh' in the morning.
Heading out there with two friends, one in an '11.5 E93 M3 and another in an '12 E92 M3, both tuned by me. So between the three of us we have covered the M3 model line offerings. I have never run Streets on the clockwise configuration, very interested in trying it out as I loved it counter-clockwise. Hope to see some of you guys there!

hey I was thinking of running in the twilight event. will it be too dark tho? I don't mind getting up early, so which would be the better event to attend?

Day: hotter, more people, less money. When I was there the other week and the previous event, I left at 8:30ish (I had a rather important event I needed to attend later in the evening) and it was still a but light out Personally, I preferred the after 4 pm time cause it's just so much cooler...but I am familiar with the track more than a first time... For a first time I would say day, but if you have more confidence, do it at night. the lighting is good, but it's never going to be as good as the sun. or maybe do both

hmm after seeing that video I definitely think I'm gonna go to the morning session. Looks wayy to dark at some portions of the track to see what's going on.

Don't discard going at night simply based on my video. If this is your first event, then yes don't do the evening. If you've never been on this track before, again I would skip evening unless you're comfortable learning a new track. Otherwise, you'll be fine. Just don't expect to break any track record and take it easy. The evening event was actually pretty unique and fun

Registering now, is there a gas station at the track? I'm easily gonna burn through a tank getting there.
