M3 - CF or Sunroof?

Ok, I've decided on my colors, Mineral White + Fox Red interior, with Carbon Leather trimming.

For the loving life of me I cannot decide on Sunroof or Carbon Fiber roof ... I just test drove a brand new M3 with the sunroof, but so far I'm 50/50 between them. I kinda like the idea of having a bit of wind in my hair , and I also kinda like the idea of the CF being new and in-fashion.

Which one looks nicer? anyone got pics of either of them, or any comments?

Your dealership doesn't have an M3 with a CF roof? There is no point in asking us which one looks nicer. Your car, should be what YOU like. I have the CF roof and I love it.

The sales woman said they are an M dealership and are required to have at least one M on the floor at all times available for test driving, unfortunately this one has a sunroof.

I have always had a sun roof in my cars and I use it almost daily if I can either tilting, opening or at least let the sun thru. Couldn't pull the trigger on a CF although I admit it is super sexy. I understand it makes car lighter and may be performance improvement but hay I'm not Michael Schumacher, I would never be able to tell the performance difference.

Never opt for an option that is "free" from BMW. There's a reason for it being no charge.

What?

There's nothing special about a sunroof. You can have a sunroof on a 10k scion TC. Get the CF roof, it's nicer and looks badass on white...

I agree this statement is pure nonsense. In the same way, the CF roof is "FREE", so your statement is just asinine.

I'm curious, what's the reason?

+1.... I cant imagine paying that much for a car without a sunroof. I know some people dont use theirs but like this guy said, I use mine daily! I just like the ability of getting a little air circulation through the car even on colder days. Also, the cars without the sunroof just seem some dark and closed in IMO.

I think the CF room is kinda cool but I also just kinda see it as a gimmick (no offense). It definitely is different though. Also, I HIGHLY HIGHLY doubt that you would be able to notice any performance difference.

Just my 2 cents...
