Let me guess, you're considering the TR Motorsport MT1. It's been done before and the report is that is all clears with 275/35 tires (not sure which brand, but it was reported to be real close to the shock up front).

Main Pro: You'll be able to rotate tires and get max usage from them.

Main Con: Expect increased oversteer given all esle is stock and with stock alignment. The front track will be wider than the rear track by 1/2" as well.

enkei makes a wheel choice in that option too..

i am running that setup all the way around.. with 265-35 front and 295-30 rear...

5mm spacers for the perfect offsets...

this is my track setup..

i dont feel this car needs a square setup....

i want as much power down grip as possible... so 295 or atleast a 285 for the rear....

square = to much oversteer....

I know Enkei makes quality wheels that are light and strong, but I could never catch on to this particular model. I just don't get the "spider web" design, that is, the extra set of circumferential ribs. Just looks unnecessary and hard to clean.

I ended up getting 255/35/19 and 285/35/19 RE-11s. Ben told me that they are stickier than PS2s. Will wait and see. I went 19s because there are more size choices available. 18s have a very limited selection for the M3.
