i have mom dukes as a co signer.. student loans kicked my ass. .. Been pulled over plenty of times and have cops as friends... they do profile and just like with any other group of people there are some that are pretty ignorant. I have been pulled over numerous times just to be questioned about my car, this makes me laugh. Ive even been harassed by a group of cops who were just mad that i was driving an M6.. i still keep my sense of humor. im 25 and quite a few cars deep, i let my haters be my motivators.

Heh nice title.

Could be like mine where my dad co-signed because it was the difference of 6% and .9% interest. A divorce ruined my credit.

HaHA, good one "BROSKI!"
I'm sure u can figure out I meant convo, short for conversation.

For everyone else, its smart to use your family to get rates, payments, ect. lower do it if you can, for as long as you can. I would. Just make sure they are covered.

The other reason police ask if its someone else's car is for intelligence collection. See what you say, how you say it, how you react. This will lead them into further questioning if they doubt your story and then can build their justification

I have a pretty interesting situation. Dad is friends with owner of BMW dealership in LI who recently had triplets. Wife forced him to sell 09 M3 so my dad picked it up with 4000 miles for about 55,000. Im 19 and had a love affair with the car and bought it from them when i went to college I now have the car co-signed with my mom as insurance rates would go up if i changed the registration so I'm going to wait until i finish college to do so.

sorry to bring a old thread back to life but it was a very entertaining read....im 26 and have 3 cars under my name and my name only, and cops usually leave me alone even when i drive my GT-R....so maybe its the way you drive and the things that you do to your car that gets you pulled over, and im not talking about tints either because i have 20% tints on all my cars.

I'm 25 and I own my M3, have it insured with my other car...insurance isn't bad. I've been insured under my own name since I was 18, that probally helps with my rates. I know alot of people my age who own there cars outright and still have them registered and insured under there parents name because they've never had their own insurance. Every situation is different...

There are 3 races on earth. Your race is not Armenian. Your ethnicity may be Armenian, but your race is either Caucasian, Negroid, or Asiatic.

The statement saying Armenians are "shady" cannot be racist, because it is not based on race. Let's call it prejudice instead.
