Have you ever regretted your choice of color?

I've searched if there was a similar thread, but didn't find anything. If I missed it, I apologize.

I've ordered an M3 E92 in Alpine White 2 weeks ago. I'm still not quite sure about the color. I'm thinking about several things now, as for example if I will still love the color in 2 or 3 years or not.

So, simple question: Have you ever regretted your choice of color? If so, what are/were the reasons for it and what color would you choose if you'd buy a new M3 today?

It would interest me if it coincides with my predictions.

But be honest!

Thanks!

I chose SS II and would still get it. HOWEVER, I do love Frozen Grey, but proilly still would not order it.

I chose Silver because it looks good for a long time. Nicks, clearcoat scratches, etc don't show easily. Silver isn't as "nice looking/showy" as the darker colors, but thats ok with me. I like to have my car as much as a sleeper as I can get it.

The only color I would switch my Space Gray with is Dakar Yellow, or maybe Frozen Gray/Black.

The Jet Black is a love hate relationship. When its all fixed up it is perfect. When it gets dirty it makes me want to die.

I'd probably do something different next time.

It's okay not putting it in your poll, SSII owners never regret their decision.

Have AW and it's nice, but getting boring. Get Mineral White or an individual color if you want to have the WOW factor...

still surprised everyone was googoogaga over AW/FR when the M3 came out. Nice contrast, but I never felt white was a good M color. Kinda belongs on a E350 vert-coupe driving down sunset blvd.

IB was my initial choice, but then I wised up and got the color I always wanted... RED! ZERO regrets, stands out in the crowd, lots of compliments, is truly an M-color. Even the dealer was drooling when it finally arrived in their prep center.

if my car were white... I may have never noticed it on the Welt floor

I love AW and I'm completely happy with it, but every time I see jerez black or silverstone I kind of wish I went with one of those. If I had a choice to pick an individual, it would definitely be hellrot red.

too bad it's an individual color

I would have gotten that if it were available and not $4000.

I love Jerez Black, so many different looks to it, BUT this is the last time im buying a black colored car. Next time will def. be a silverish or perhaps white color. Black is just too hard to maintain. However for the 15min its clean after a wash/wax its sublime.

I'm very happy with IB, but if I can choose again, it would be my all time fave. Laguna Seca Blue. Always love that color, but when I ordered my car, the dealer told me that they could not do custom colors on M3. If I would have waited a little longer, I could have ordered it in LSB. Oh well. Other than that, I am very happy with my first choice of IB.

I fail to see what wow factor MW has, I've seen it 100 times already on 3s, 7s, several M3s.

Its a dull white with metallic flakes in it. Don't think its ugly, but excitement factor?

Now, some of the Individual colors I'll agree with.

Personally, none of the standard fare M colors wow me (at least anymore), even AW which I ordered. I'm just not willing to go $5k to have something different.
