Push to Start?

What's with this stupid button to start my car. It's so detached from the experience.

I miss the crank start. It was really more engaging and I felt like I was one with the vehicle.

Oh well, I guess progress marches on.

You get used to it. I try to push to start my 4runner everyday. It never seems to work. Lol

I agree, the cranking is "more involving" and makes me feel mucho. All those who push start are lazy and don't know how to drive.

FAKE!

Honestly I hate the push to start...and worse is push to stop and having to press and hold for the stupid radio to turn off.

Hey I know that guy! I caught him sticking his little cane in the air intake of my M3 after work one day. I was like "Dude, WTF?!" He just smiled and continued to front all up in my car's grill in his hip-hop-inspired pose.

So I ran him over. Guy is totally f-ing nuts.

Hm, who woulda thought... this dude invented the B-boy stance. Don't let word get out or there will be a retarded dance to commemorate this guy.

...for the record I'm a huge fan of push to starts.

the best way is to push-start is to put it in 2nd gear, ideally down a slight incline and have your wife push the car...

once it starts your best moves are:
- WOT until she disappears in the mirror
- hit brakes hard and back-up

JK, i love my wife

How else would you have comfort access? Without resorting to another silly poll, i can assure you most would not give up this feature...
