1200 mi service done. Is this the right oil level?

If you are overfilled on oil you need to have it drained. Unless you want to attempt it yourself, I'd just let the dealership do it (they are probably gonna do a full oil change).

As for me, after my 1200 miles service it was at the MAX arrow at the top and hasn't moved since. I keep a bottle in the trunk anyway just in case, but I haven't been driving it much because of the winter weather.
