any difference between 330i and M3 E9X powersteering?

Hi everyone, I am owner of 330i LCI E90 (EU model, 200 kW) with electric powersteering, which is not good at all. Since I am starting to think about M3, I would like to know if there is any difference between M model and "regular" one in this way? I would prefere hydraulic powersteering.

The 330i might have active steering which would make it different

No E9x car came to the USA with electric power steering. (Not referring to servotronic which is different) Since you are in EU, some regular 3-series came with EPS but the M3 only comes with hydraulic power steering.

The M3 steering system is specific to the M3. It shares no parts with any standard 3-series except for the steering column.
