Ya I got this too, I've been wanting to track my new e92, this is a good opportunity to both see what it can really do and meet some fellow enthusiasts

Seems a bit steep for $750 and your own car.

$750 is seriously steep for a day; even for the big track. If this is how much Mosport is going to cost going forward, i'll be doing all my tracking at Calabogie and the Glen!

My dealership is setting something up for June too. (The Toronto-Parkview-Waterloo group, they did one last year too.)

Don't know about the cost yet.

I would expect that most of the single day events at the Mosport GP for 2013 will be at least $450 with the rental increases for this year. That is on the high end for sure especially when you realize that WGI & Calabogie are only 4 hours away and are usually a fair bit less if you tee up on a group deal or with groups like Phoenix CMR.It will be interesting to see what does happen this year at Mosport.

It is steep, but it does say the proceeds go to charity.

I already plan on doing more days at Calabogie and the Glen. Dont see myself doing much at Mosport this year.

you also get well-fed, instructors available etc. etc.

most track days i have been to are too bare-bones to really enjoy fully. the kiosk food at Mosport is terrible.

that's a tough time of year for me but if i can make it i will be there.

Then you are going to the wrong trackdays! Most of the ones that we attend, have great instruction with proper classroom sessions if needed.I know the Budd day is run properly for novices.

I may go just for the drive and be a spectator I don't think they can teach me new tricks at my age ... thinking of "Cannot teach an old dog new tricks" ... might just hold water in my case

Happy New Year Everyone !

I would go with you Rolf, but I will out of the country that week.

The regulars on here are really good, advanced drivers.

I know that, at least for me, I need to start in "kindergarten" for this type of stuff. I will also start doing events in our Miata first.
