Who else is getting M3 burnout?
Since joining up here Ive done, too much searching and reading any new info, magazines, pics and vids , im gonna get bored of this car before even buying or even touching it. Today the a pic of the interior looked so plain to me, which is unusual because the interior is one the things I like about the car.
As the wait is still gonna be pretty significant for us in the states # on waiting list plus build and delivery time etc.. Hard to stay excited when its such a long way off. Anyone else feel the same? These early reports are ok, so its safe to say no big developments will be happening at least until you euro folks get em and then we will have some proper roadtest/reviews. So with a looksee every now and then. I think im gonna take a break from all the sites and forums etc . For myself at least, in my minds eye I want a car to still be fresh and new. Besides that my hubby is motorbike nut and he's pretty sick of me showing him car let alone M3 stuff. Ive been neglecting my Z lately, mabey i'll get some new mods lol Anywho see you guys later in the year or so Last edited by Tobizach; 07-11-2007 at 06:07 AM.. |

I was reading up on the Lexus IS-F yesterday and i thought the car look great along with the interior, i usually would not feel this way about a Lexus. I feel a bit burnout too but i just cant help being a M3 junkie.. |

I'm sure that cars will be provided to journalists for extended testing prior to the first deliveries. That should lead to more substantive reports in the next couple months.

Thanks GregW I subscribe to a couple of bmw mags i'll probably catch it in the mail. Truth be told reviews and such are fine. But I wanna just touch, see and drive the darn thing already |

Right now I am more anxious to know what the MSRP will be for us. |

I have a question for those of you who preordered an E46M3 before it came out. Did you have to submit configuration before the pricing is out? The impression I got from the dealer is I might have to submit an order before the pricing is out.

I didnt pre-order a e46 but this is what my dealer told me, once they get pricing and allocations they will call up each person the list based on their respective number and ask them if they want to go ahead and order a build. If they say yes, then you come in choose your color, options, etc. If you say no, you get your deposit back and they move on to the next person the list.

I understand T-Z, I am the same way. Looking for something fresh.. maybe that's why pics of the C63 look so good to me.
I got on the e92 M3 list in May 2005 but decided to just try and forget about it... there wasn't much buzz then anyway. A year later (last July, one year ago) I bought a Z4 M Coupe to keep me amused while I waited. I didn't really like the car and couldn't justify it taking up a garage space, so I sold it for quite a loss 4 months ago (having a 997 GT3 in its place eased the pain ) As for the price, I'm expecting to get out the door for $70K or less... anything more, and I will seriously consider other "V8 cruisers with an edge" because that's what I'm here for! The E92 M3 on paper seems like my perfect car..... I hope I get to drive one before I buy. My last 2 BMWs didn't last long because I just... didn't... like driving them... for some reason.... but they looked fantastic and dang, that new leather sure smells good! |
