Top Gear testing an ESS supercharged M3?

I think it would be a great segment. They LOVED the car in its stock form, had absolutely no complaints. I wonder what they will think with an extra 200hp (obviously upgraded brakes and suspension too). would love to see clarkson's face when doing it LOL.

I think they should solicit top samples of all the SC companies to go head to head

Given that the M3 is raved so much as the benchmark I think there may be a chance.

However I suspect there are some serious opposition from the purists who prefer that it remain in it's classic form.

Does top gear do shows on many modified cars? I think most of the shows use factory stock cars.

I don't remember Top Gear testing any mod'ed cars. In fact, in one of their episode they mod'ed a Renault Avantime, and reported back as any money spent on modification is waste. Obviously they were being Top Gear with that comment.
