I fully agree. Let's keep these things private and talk about cars here.

Bottom line: Ask about his cars, not his private life.

I am now in my late 20's and I just hate it because sometimes when I go to car meets, a lot of the younger guys and even some of the older guys ask me what I do for a living just because I am driving an M3. To be honest, I was intrigue and flattered when people ask me what I do for a living at first coz I was really proud of myself that I was able to get an M3 before my 30's. After a while, it's not that flattering anymore when you keep on getting questions on what you do for a living. We are there to talk about cars, not what we do for a living.

I don't mind at all when people ask me what I do - I think it's a great way to network. As long as the dialogue is kept respectful and professional. I've actually gotten a few business opportunities through the meets

Of course, there are those who are just curious and nosey. These tend to be the younger crowd. Just decline to answer or answer them vaguely.

----

BTW -- awesome story and great looking cars!!

People want to hear drug dealer....and even if you tell them what youre doing what will it do.....they wont be able to do it...if you tell them youre a doctor well they cant become doctor overnight.....even if you sell drugs or pimp girls what will it change. I hate those questions. When you have nothing people dont give a crap about you but when you show material possessions well you become interesting. It will always be like that nothing we can do about it.

Not that uncommon, especially in regions where local tuners are hard to come by.

I don't see it as a problem, if you don't own a house, have a wife or children, it's pretty easy to see how a 21 year old could afford an M3. When you get a wife, have kids and have a mortgage at least you will be able to say I once owned an M3, and I have great memories. Nuff said.

What a magnificent experience!! Thanks for the pics.

I cant believe what the GTR's stock exhaust looks like! Probably bottles up a ton of power?

That video made me want to tear of happiness for some reason. Just to be clear... I didn't though. Very good editing.

Only been to Mumbai by container ship so I only saw severe poverty while in India.
Amazing collection and work done by IND. Not sure if I would take the modded GTR over a 911 TT or GT3 RS?

I don't see the big deal with what you do, I actually feel that by not telling us, or by saying it the way you did it makes you sound more sketchy. JMHO!

On the thread: IND = FTW! I can not wait to get my e90 M3 (gotta sell the 335) and have IND make it into a known beast!

To the owner; great collection of cars, you have great taste for cars, and what you do to them is top notch! It is just weird to be sitting in the USA and see this, knowing what kind of shape India is in. That is all, and that's more than likely why people want to know so bad.

Congrats to IND, and everyone on another great car, write up, and experience!
