Wow.. hardly any traffic, but the stuff you came on, you came on pretty fast. It's been a long time since I've had that many traffic-free laps. Smooth line though. You can definitely be pushing harder in 2-5, and prob make up most of those wanted 2 seconds there. Very nice.

Thank you, 1-5 is my favorite part of the track so far. Combination of early rain threat and everyone going home mid day made for light day.

i had one and it was a great car but no. zhp is a fun as hell street car but this is track duty and way beyond that.

track day yesterday at the Ridge. update on my st-40s beginning to like them quite a bit. after rebleeding pedal was much stiffer and the sr34s as others have said have almost too much initial bite. found them a little hard to modulate at times being kind of grabby. May end up back with pagids again not sure yet. set personal lap best again this week down to a 1:56:93 about exactly a second off last time. think it ended up being fast lap of the day from what i heard. there was a 997.1 gt3rs there on street tires that was running mid 1:57s all day but dont think he got lower than that. you will see him in video getting away from me. didnt feel as consistent this time for some reason. day started out wet and moved to dry by mid day. strangely my fastest lap was in a my last session and last lap. i was running somewhat slow at high 1:59s low 2:00 minute and i just say fuck it im gonna kill this lap. it was pretty hairy in spots with lots of slip angle but was faster.

new ridge video. some 1:58s in here i think. video in process so will be a bit. will add an earlier session much with no one out there managed some 1:57s right after it dried out and stayed there consistently for the whole time.

here is the earlier video right after it was drying out. think my out lap was 1:59:xx and rest are 1:57 and 1:58 range. no traffic and still some moisture in spots.

SR34s? Touchy? I was trail braking into an 85 mph turn all weekend. Did great! Just gotta have that soft foot.

8 days on the SR34s and I'm guessing I can get another 4 days

If I rotate the pads I think I can get another 6 days.

Yes a little touchy. Gotta get it sorted. That is a lot of days. I'm hoping I get similar wear rate. Cuts down on the pad bill! My nt01s I think I have 10 days on the rears now and 1 left in em.

From this past weekend, I'm figuring out that I really need to address the cooling on my car. I'll get the BW oil cooler and go from there. My car was pulling timing like crazy, I had trouble getting by Miatas on the straights. In fact, I would only really close in on them in the corners. The car is a beast on the turns.

My temp hasn't been bad at all. I have the oil bypass though. Highest I've seen is 245ish. Miatas should be getting passed like standing still.

me too. although my pace isnt horribly far off the very quickest cars out there. modified 997.2 gt3 pro driven is under 8 seconds faster a lap.
