Nice one, Ed.

Love London. Great city. Could spend a month there and not run out of things to see.

Wow! I was surprised to see that you did that with your 150-600mm. Were you planning for that effect?

Canons, fish-eye to 500mm with 2x TC. The fish-eye and 500mm are primes and the whole middle is L-zooms.

On my shots, if you click on the image, it'll take you to Flickr, where you can see it in larger sizes AND see the EXIF data for each shot.

BTW, in the right gallery, framed in a large size, like 50" or 60", that'd sell for $1,000, or more. Yosemite, Grand Canyon and a few other places have universal appeal in just about any gallery with lots of landscape shots.

Nice shot, DC, snow and all. It was miserable here today and it snowed in Chicago. I was up the airport in Champaign checking out a visiting B-17. The wind and on-off rain made it less than enjoyable to stand out on the tarmac, but the pics were worth it, I think. More later.

Snow one day, bumblebees the next? And I thought we were having a crazy spring.

Nice shots, btw.

It's not as obvious in my first shot, but you can see in this one that it's raining pretty good. I was under the fifth wheel overhang of their office trailer shooting this.

Thanks.

BTW, hummingbird survived the snow and 20-degree weather. I saw him and was waiting for him to land on this bush, but he never ate, he just buzz-bombed the wrens and warblers in the bush.

Just got back from Yosemite. It was a fun trip, but I'm tired. Just one teaser. We saw this guy from the road, and that collar means he has been too close to people before.

Actually no, but I usually shoot trains with two cameras. One with a big zoom, and one with a wider zoom. The TS effect works best when you are shooting down on something though, and looking at these in post, I decided to do a couple that way.

Very nice job Mark, rain or not. Great job on the prop blur too.

Thanks, Ed. The only shots where I couldn't get prop blur were the landing shots. The pilot told me which runway he'd use for landing, but also warned me that might change if the wind shifted. Well the wind did shift. I was set up perfectly less than 100 yds from the end of the planned runway ready to catch him touching down with the 70-200 f2.8 IS and then I saw him head over to the other runway at the last minute. I had to grab everything and run back around the corner of the buildings and then I was almost a half mile from the end of the new runway. I had no choice but to go with the 400 5.6, which negated any chance of prop blur. Too bad, because I got a decent shot.
