Finally saw the M3 coupe IRL (So Cali)

Just got back from Rusnak BMW in Thousand Oaks, CA. They have a fully loaded Alpine White m3 coupe on the main floor. Marked up price is $92,000! It was great to see it in person, not to mention it had the exact color combo I am getting (April Build - MSRP). If you are in Southern California and are not expecting your car for a while, go check it out before someone picks it up.

Oh, in case your wondering it has Extended Black Novillo Leather with Brushed Aluminum Trim, CF Roof, 19" Wheels, and all 3 packages.

LOL @ 92K. That has to be 20-22K over sticker. Is there someone out there really dumb enough to pay that price?

Someone will buy it. Rich people spend money on expensive things all the time. It will be sold by the end of this month.

Yeah, I agree... Many people around here have insane $$$. There were some 911 Carrera's at the Porsche dealership next door that were even cheaper than 92K allbeit base but nonetheless sweet rides.

Forgot to mention the BS dealer add-ons that were part of the package... Lojack, and some paint-sealant thing.

$20k over MSRP (esp. in So. Cal.) was my call about a year ago on this forum. I doubt many will be sold at that mark up but they will be sold. Too bad those impatient rich folks don't read up here.

That dealership is near me and i'll stop by today to check it out. But people in this area have the money to pay that markup.

Well I know the 2 dealers closest to me have alreay sold 1 car each one marked 12k over and the other 15k over..

I woudnt doubt LA area to have 20k over and sell.

I was planning to save at least $500~1000 off of MSRP since I bought 2 cars from them and the sales person is a friend of my family member, but I guess it won't be happening... 20k Mark up is just ridiculous...
I don't know who they think will buy M3 when they can afford M5 at the same price. I'm going to check out for a test drive tomorrow.

Lojack will work even if the car is not on. Thieves can tow or flatbed a car to a chop shop without ever turning the car on. That's the only advantage I can see.
