Should i buy an m3 GTS or just keep my m3

so... i bought my m3 3mths ago. today i saw an m3 GTS at the dealership and cant stop thinking about it...

so let you all know first.. with either car i will mod the hell out of it as in everything possible.. so should i keep my m3 or switch to a gts?

here are prices for indonesia

EDIT: removed prices as ppl think i just was here to show off pricing which i dont know why people would. im sorry i posted prices i was just really excited as i literally posted this when i came back from the dealership.

for what i said about i didnt know they had an m3 gts what i meant was i thought every single gts has already been sold.. so i didnt even ask for one... which to be fair was my dumbest mistake..

I can't see the pictures but buy it, even though your going to mod it, it's a one of a kind car, it alreadys has plenty done to it, and you cant compare having an m3 to the exclusivity of a gts
So if money is no issue then do it

So you want to take a huge loss on a car you just bought, to buy a much more expensive car, then (hopefully) spend a lot MORE money to get a respray done properly? Ok then, at that point I'd have to say the only thing left would be to test drive it to see what you think. That and honestly ask yourself whether you're a good enough driver to be able to take advantage of or even feel the differences in the GTS compared to the normal M3.

if you can afford it which it seems like you can... I say go for it... but if i do i probably wont use it much and will save it as a collectors. which will be a long shot... but having to have a GTS is one of a kind so ill take it...

i know some people dont understand international rates when purchasing cars they are usually 4x or more than in the US...

SO PLEASE REFRAIN FROM SAYING BUY A PORSCHE... CAUSE IF HE DOES... IT WILL COST MOST THAN THAT... LMAO JUST SAYING.

Well then, what you have now is a keeper as well. The next generation will be "Inline 6 with turbos"

So why not keep what you have and add mods to your liking? That is what I would do, only I like to keep my car's stock ... I am a firm believer in what they say ....

What are you going to DO with the car? Is it going to be a daily driver or are will be a track car? The "regular" M3 and the GTS were built to meet different uses... Related to that, what would you mod on it?

And for the love, I would beg you not to paint it. Personally, I think the orange is hawt.

it will be both.. but i tend to track minimum 2x a mth.. (track is always open here no need track days or anything just go)

mods would be, supercharger, bbk, wider tires/rims. and see what else it needs as the camber is already adjustable on the gts. im building this for track. its my daily atm but will eventually turn into a track car.

IMO, if you do get the GTS, don't repaint. Might as well just mod your current car instead of making a rare car worth less.

+1. Sounds to me like you'll be customizing it to the point that it may no longer really be a GTS either. Take the money you'd put into just buying the GTS and put it into your current ride to make it exactly what you want.

I would guess username11's point is that modding the hell out of something is different than doing the keyhole delete to the door locks. To that point, my M3 is likely "completely ruined" what with the Ground Control suspension, Ericsson front bumer and CF bits on the exterior. To each his own, right? But you asked, and we're an opinionated bunch.
