I wish you guys could see the HRE's in person. The offset is perfect and the wheels really complete the look of the car. We just need to add a BBK

Eisenmann - "We are driven by sound" ????
Shouldn't it be by "performance"? Who cares what a car sounds like if it can't perform! Personally I don't like the wheel color choice. I do like the wheel style, just on a different car. I dislike all of the advertising on the car. Makes it look like a billboard. Not at all attractive. Advertising should be more discrete.

We did not come up with that. Eisenmann Germany's advertising slogan is "We are driven by SOUND" This M3 was purchased to advertise the Eisenmann exhaust line. The decals were on the car for marketing purposes only they have since been removed.

1st post so I'll introduce myself also, as not to be rude. Names Adam, and I live in the UK and plan to take delivery of my Alpine White DCT Coupe in March 09' and this seems to be the best forum around covering the new M3, lots of useful information etc.
My question is, 20's fill the arches perfectly and look amazing, but how does the M3 handle on 20" wheels, does it not affect the performance when compared to 18"/19"s? Is this modification purely cosmetic or does it have performance pros. Cheers. |

The 20" wheels look perfect on the E92. The 20" HRE monoblock wheels weigh less than the OEM 18/19" wheels. I didn't notice any difference in handling.

I have 20" HRE's and I do track my vehicle. I honestly have never felt any difference with the 20's and I do really push the car. I've also had an active professional Champ car driver take it (with me) for a few laps and he simply kicked ass against everything inluding Porsche's etc... and he never complained about the 20". I should add that he owns and tracks (sometimes with us) his own E46 M3 and says my E92 not only handles better, but he improved his time around the track. So so much for all the brouhaha about 20's lol! Only one issue is that they are of course more susceptible to bending than are the 19's but have found that the HRE's do NOT bend nearly as easily as my old 20" Breytons that were not forged.
